when i was 28 one of my ovaries got behind the uterus and the doctor thught i had a tumor and it was my ovary out of place. doctor removed my uterus and he told me he put my ovary back in place. i never took hormones. today i am 60 and three month ago i started with pelvic pain. the doctor ordered a pelvic ultrasound and it came back normal the only thing she said it did not show my ovaries. then she ordered a ct of abdomen and ct of pelvis and all she said was that it was normal except for alot of fecal mater. could that be my two ovaries and they think it is fecal matter.. they also reported not seen my ovaries. i have a gyn visit on tuesday. could it be my ovaries behind the colon? i still have the pains.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern here the present history and your past history of ovarian operation not related with each other and these are the different from each other looking to your age right now your problem of pelvic pain might be age related and not at all something to take with your gynecological problem, this could be orthopedic problem and better to have opinion from orthopedic surgeon, take care and have a nice day.
