Experiencing Sever Pain Near Rib Cage. Breathing Difficult. Feel Dizzy And Light Headed. Suggestions
I am female, 21 years old, Sexually active with a longterm partner (only ever had this one long term partner) and on the Microgynon pill. Last night at I started experiencing sever pain in my right side below my rib cage. I couldnt breath without it hurting and couldnt mover without the pain increasing. This morning it appears to have subsided although there is still a slight ache around that area of my body. I also feel very dizzy this morning, light headed and hot... like a hot flush! Any suggestions?

Pain threshold is different in different kind of persons, so at present it is presuming that this pain was just a stretching of muscles over ribs ( rt side).
In your query , you have said that pain subsides so take it lightly.
However there are many reasons of pain in this area as,
Consolidation ( sudden collapse of lung (lobe) of right side).
Pleura (membrane of lung its cover) filled with fluid , may be due to rub in pleura.
Mistaken identity of pain in liver.
So please take rest for 2-3 days and ,no cure than consult a physician and get examination accordingly.
