Experiencing Severe Lower Abdominal Pain After Removal Of Right Ovary

I am a 50 year old female (appendix intact but right ovary removed because of cysts) and I have an awful, sharp pain in my lower right abdomen when I cough or sneeze (I have the 'flu at the moment and it is agony – the pain lasts for about 10 minutes after a cough or sneeze). I have also just had an incisional umbilical hernia repair. I don't want to bother my GP is it is just a pulled muscle, but I don't want to leave it in case it is something to worry about.
Many thanks.
