Experiencing Vaginal Itching/ Burning And Light Pink Yeasty Discharge After Intercourse. Cervicitis Or Bacterial Infection Or STD?

I had intercourse with a man I'm dating for the second time ever on 06/28 and the condom broke...on 06/30 I started to experience vaginal itching/ burning and light pink yeasty discharge inside my vagina. Its not fluid or clear like discharge or a menstrual cycle and I do not have any noticeable lesions. It feels very similar to yeast infection but there is no odor and it is light pink/ light brown instead of white. Can this be a possible STD and does an STD show symptoms this early? I was 100 % std/sti free before sleeping with him and have not had a partner in over a year. He is in a band so maybe this is an infection he passed on to me? Could this be cervicitis or some other bacterial infection and can an old tube of metronidazole cure this? If this is a bacterial infection, would my partner be experiencing symptoms as well? I really really do not want to ask him if he is experiencing any symptoms in case I am the only one infected. Thanks very much and don't judge me :)
