Extreme Pain During Periods, Diagnosed With Ruptured Tube, Operation Done. Will Menstrual Bleeding Cause Tube Rupture?

hi just a few days back a cousin of mine was havin periods sudenly she was rolling with pain she was rushed to hospital where they said one of her tube is ruptured and she was operated n a tube was removed the doc said it was a clot she was really serious n fainted on the way im a dentist n i cant understand can menstrual bleeding cause a tube rupture it wasnt ectopic pregnancy what could b the possible cause?

Hi.. Normally menstrual bleeding will not cause tube rupture.. Most of the times it will be ectopic pregnancy which will cause tube rupture... It patient is married, then this could be a cause... other causes are like TB of fallopian tube, cysts in the tube.. which could rupture...
