Extreme Pain In Stomach, Followed By Dark Green Long Mucus String In Stools The Next Day. History Of Eating Brocolli Slaw. Opinion?
I had extreme pain in my right stomach for about 45 minutes. The next day I went to the bathroom, and a twelve to sixteen inch long mucous string came off when I wiped. I picked it up, and flushed it. It was about the size of a pencil in width. It was dark green. I am wondering if it was just the broccoli slaw that I had ate an hour before my stomach started hurting that caused this.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. As you described in query it may be worm impacted in mucus , most probably may be an Ascaris lumbricoids . Gallbladder secrets bile and its color is green ,so you are feeling pain on the right side and so please consider about that also. Consult a physician and get his opinion and ultrasound of effected part. Stool examination is very important. Good luck. Dr. HET
