Eyes Feel Tired D And Eye Stigmata In One Eye, Had A Deviated Nose Septum Surgery. Cause For Feeling Sleepy?

Can anybody help please I work two overnight shifts witch I try to sleep a few hours very uncomfortable. Ill sleep 6 to 8 hours when I get home and when I wake up my eyes are alway tired! Some times for days! I don t know if its the heat of the radiator or some other thing I m allergic too. I went for eye visit and the doctor said I need to sleep more, and i have a slight e stigmata on one of my eyes. My next step is to go to an allergist and by the way I also had a nose surgery for a deviated nose septum , I was hoping that was the problem. It did help but not 100%. I wish I could change my job schedule but I can t! I m running out of options can some one please find it in there heart to give some good advice. Thank you very much.

Eye strain or tiredness of the eyes is commonly due to an exertion of the eye muscles either due to an uncorrected refractive error, strain on normal eye mucles due to lack of sleep or overwork or due to weeak eye muscles to begin with. firstly, you need to get your eyes checked to look for any refractive error especially a cylindrical one that may easily be corrected with glasses. If that exists, the eye muscles come bakc to their resting state and the eye strain disappears. If the eye strain is due to lack of sleep, then you have to fit a few more hours of rest into your schedule and the improvement will be obvious. If the symptoms are due to inherently weak eye musculature, the condition arises most often due to a mild vitamin deficiency and overall ill health and you may also be experiencing mild lethargy and tiredness along with eye strain. Take B complex supplements for 2 to 3 weeks daliy and check for improvement. You may also start an antiinflammatory eye drop regime in the eyes like Ketorolac if there is an allergic component. Lubricating eye drops also help to relax tired eyes and can be used 3 times a day.
