FNAC Test For Thyroid Goiter. What Does The Findings Mean?

I have done FNAC test for Thyroid goiter. The following is the observation.
Background shows foci of thin accasionally thick colloid. Many scattered follicular cells and few sheets seen some denuded nuclei noted occational single pigment laden histiocytes noted. any papillary cluster cell with nuclear groves and inclusions not identified

welcome to health care magic
Because of enlargement of thyroid you have undergone FNAC,,
normally thyroid looks like a follicular pattern and in the middle colloid is seen(microscopically)..
In your case colloid is present in abundant..
No malignant cells are found(non-cancerous)
Usually thyroid goiter is seen when you have iodine deficiency,,in which cells undergo large size to absorb more and more iodine..
Consult physician for further suggestions and treatment..
