Facial Expression Like Having A Ball In Mouth On Both Sides. Blood Tests Normal. Due To Deep Fillings In Teeth Done Long Back?

Hi My family and friends have noticed when I do certain facial expressions that it looks like I have a ball in my mouth on both sides just above the jaw line. I have started noticing as we'll in photos. When I touch it its like there is nothing there just swalllen. I had a blood test and nothing came up in my lymph nodes. I am now starting to think its my teeth I had two very deep fillings done a few years ago maybe I have an infection although I have no pain or swelling in my gum

hi
thanks for the query...
the condition you mentioned doesn't seems to be related to any dental problem... as you got your deep carious cavities filled a few years ago and you are not experiencing any kind of pain or sensitivity... so they are not inter related at all... i think you should seek general physicians advice... your dentition seems to be fine... if you are still doubtful, you should go for complete radiographic assessments...
thanks....

Hi,
Thanks for asking query
As you are asymptomatic so it seems that your teeth are fine, although there are two deep fillings still teeth don't seem to be abssessed. As your blood test and lymph nodes examination is fine, you can consult a dentist and ask for an OPG.
Hope you a cure soon
Take care

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

The appearance of ball in mouth will be due to-

Abscess developed either due to re-infection of restored teeth or due to periodontitis.

Please do visit a dentist and get a thorough clinical as well as x-ray evaluation done.

Root canal treatment has to be done if required.

Get deep scaling done.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

Take care.

hello
swelling may be due to some kind of infection in those teeth where deep fillings are done. consult your dentist and get your OPG done to rule out any kind of dental related abnormality.
thanks

Hello & welcome,

As you are experiencing no pain & no discomfort in your teeth, then your problem seems to be different & not associated with your teeth.

Those teeth filled a few years before may cause such problem but then it is usually associated with pain.

Still, i will encourage you to visit your dentist & get clinically examined to rule out any other condition related to teeth.

If no such condition is observed in oral cavity then you can visit A General Physician for thorough examination.

Take care.
