Fall On Back, Later Black Imprint On Every Verterbra, Back Soreness. Prognosis?

alright I fell off of my speeding horse uh two days ago and I landed flat on my back he's very tall horse so I was at least 10 feet up.I was taken to the emergency room where they x rayed my spine, and my neck. Luckily, I was wearing. Three days later and you can still see the black imprint of every vertebra of my spine in my back. My lower back is still sore. What is prognosis do you have for me and what should I be doing for this other than resting. And how long should I rest? How long before I can ride again?

Hi,
You had diffuse backbone injury following fall.Soreness will be there for a week.Meantime painkillers and muscle relaxants will alleviate your symptoms. You need MRI Spine to know exact damage following injury.Treatment further to be planned based on it.Consult Neurologist/Neurosurgeon/Orthopedician for same. Take rest for a week.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
