my father is a paraplegic since February of this year. he has a hard area on his right hip area starting around the tailbone into the right hip area. it feels like a bony mass with swelling present. size of a softball. no redness or heat. is this something to be concerned with
Hi. The hard area on the buttock or the site you have described can be hematoma or starting of a bed-sore, as your Father is paraplegic. It is better to show to a Doctor and confirm and treat accordingly.
