Is it possible to have a mild case of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome? I have always felt like I "came off the assembly line" with substandard parts.....I had horrible growing pains in my legs as a child, dislocated both knees as a teen, & have always had poor quad development, but been very flexible. I am a 43 yr old female and my main problem now is fatigue and terrible migraines that have worsened in the last decade. Numerous test have found nothing, I have tried everything for the pain, and my MD mentioned EDS and my cervical instability. I also have gastric motility issues, hiatal hernia, & GERD, but when I mentioned the possibility of EDS to my gastroenterologist he scoffed--I think he is picturing the textbook case patient with the fragile stretchy skin, slight frame, etc....none of which describes me. I also have had moderate tinnitus my entire life, and had to have a total hysterectomy at 34 due to endometriosis. My eyesight also changes. I have had astigmatism since I was a kid. Whenever I am reading or doing any close up task, even for 5 minutes, everything is blurry when I look up and takes a few minutes to clear up---new glasses has never corrected this. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
