Fatty Vaginal Discharge Looked Like Fatty Tissue. Is It A Disease ?
I m a 34y/o white female who s had one child, while I was pregnant I had to have a procedure to freeze some cells which came back moderate risk for cancer (unsure as it was 6yrs ago). I m due to start my period in 2weeks & today I had a vaginal discharge that was marble size, whitish and looked like fatty tissue (had no odor). Any ideas and should I be overly concerned?
Welcome to Healthcare Magic Since you said that the smear was positive for moderate risk means that you should have gotten another smear done now that is after 6 months from previous smear. The vaginal discharge could be due to mucous production in any lesion that irritates the cervix or vagina. It is advisable to get a PAP smear done and possible colposcopybiopsy if advised by Doctor. There is no need to worry, take it one step at a time. Early lesions if detected can be maneged very effectively. Visit your Doctor as soon as you can for proper follow up and care.
