Fear Of Sleeping, Feeling Of Sneezing, Head Spinning. Have Heart Palpitations, Biting Nails. Anxiety?
Hello, I'm Olivia and I'm 13. I have Recently had a fear of going to sleep, Im not sure what it is it just feels like something is keeping me awake. I just tried to sleep then and felt like I was going to sneeze and got a bit of a head spin, could this be an anxiety problem? I have heart palpitations nd bite my nails. This isn't the fist night I haven't been able to sleep
You have problem of fear of sleep, feeling of sneezing and anticipation of head spinning. Although with available symptoms it is difficult to delineate the exact diagnosis but it may occur due to anxiety or obsessive ruminations. You have problems of palpitations and nail biting also, these symptoms also favor the anxiety disorder. Nail biting is a behavior done in cases of anxiety. If the symptoms are causing dysfunction in day to day living then I would advise you to consult a good Psychiatrist for expert opinion. Medicines like anti anxiety medicines as SSRI, SNRI or non medicinal treatment as Relaxation Exercises, Breathing Exercises are options available.
Thanks
