Feel Fast Heart Beats, Loos Of Breath And Irregular Heart Beat. What Could The Problem Be?
The past 2 nights when I lay down to go to sleep my heart starts beating really hard, I can feel it throughout my whole body n actually hear it, it feels like it's going to beat out of my chest, however I have noshortbess of breath, nor is my heart beat fast or irregular, it's just beating really hard and won't allow me to fall asleep, what is the problem?
It might have been there since long – only the attention has been drawn to it now? It could be anxiety, that makes one aware... A problem of lung or chest wall may conduct the beats more.. May occasionally be from heart itself! -
THE FIRST STEP IS TO SEE A CARDIOLOGIST – these beats need to be DOCUMENTED; EKG / HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance. The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
