Feel Thirsty, Tired, Itching In Vagina. Did Diabetes Test. Risks To Diabetics As Per Results. Precaution?

Few days ago i had diabetes test because I have some symptoms like, thirsty, tired, itching around vagina, frequently going to the toilet and i was told to see my gp because they found my glucose is 7.20, means risked to diabetes. Last friday had ecg test because I feel a little bit breathless when I wake up and pressure on my chest. Have to wait 10 days for results and see my GP. Would like to know if in meantime I have to take some precautions, I am working, feel tired but I can work. Thank you

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
You are being investigated for Diabetes and your blood sugar level 7.2 mmol/l, but it is not clear this is fasting level or random blood sugar level.
As you are waiting your test result Fasting blood sugar, post prandial blood sugar level diagnosis depends on result of your test.fasting plasma glucose of 5 to 7.2 mmol/L and post-meal glucose level of less than 10 mmol/L.
In the meantime take care of diet just avoiding simple sugar and taking adequate rest.
Your breathlessness may be related to any kind of heart problem, lungs problem and Anemia etc.
Further treatment depends on result of your investigations, the itching in area of private parts possibilities of Urinary tract infection and /or fungal infection.
