Feeling Constipated And Having Thin Black And Furry Stools. Should I Be Concerned?

Hi there, I have just used the toilet to try and have a poo- I felt fairly constipated and really struggled. The poo came in small amounts little and often- not feeling 100% I examined it- it seemed to be thin and black in colour about an inch long and appeared to be very furry. Is this something I need to be concerned about? Many thanks

Thanks for contacting healthcare magic.

According to your complain you have problem of black stool that may be because of bleeding from digestive tract.

Iron supplement cause black stool and constipation problem. Peptic ulcer cause blood in stool. Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Stool examination test is helpful.

I hope my guidance is helpful to you.
Take care.
Thank you.
