Feeling Excessive Strain In Eyebrows, Poor Vision, Trying To Minimize Computer Usage. Treatment Options?
hi Dr., from last few days i feel lot of strain on my eyebrows...feel like my near and far vision is also getting affected.... i finished an online course last month..was thinking it is due to my sitting on computer and not taking proper sleep...but now i m trying to minimize computer use and take adequate sleep ..still i feel stain o my eyes especially eyebrows..it starts early in the morning and increase when i m driving.
Dear Selly, Hi,Strain in the eyebrows after working on computers and long hour of work with improper sleep may be due to 1.lack of sleep,2.Refractive error.3.Computer vision syndrome. So have an adequate sleep of atleast 6 hours .If still not relieved go for an eye check up to rule out any refractive error which may cause brow pain as you may be straining to look at the letters.Third if there is no refractive error then its computer vision syndrome, where you may be suffering from dry eye and eyebrow strain.Use some lubricating eye drops and take breaks between your work while working on system and blink your eyes regularly as we forget to do it when we are engrossed in our work...Tc ..Dr Ajay Shanakar Kar
