Dear sir/madame Thank you for your question. The left testicle is usually low lying as compared to the right. This is because of the embryology of human development and the blood supply of the testicles. If you feel that veins are getting engorged on line side, this condition is called varicocele, swelling of veins of the spermatic cord. This happens when the blood start pooling in the veins. The valves which prevent the back flow of the blood in veins become faulty and are unable to prevent back flow. The veins in scrotum start to feel like bag of worms . This condition is treated surgically and you need to consultant a doctor for this. This condition is similar to having vericose veins in lower limbs. Differential diagnoses will include epididymitis, but can be ruled out as you did not mention pain or fever. My suggestion is that you see a doctor.
