Feeling Of Squeezed Chest, Difficulty Breathing, Chest Pain. Used Nasal Spray For Allergies. Help
Feels like something is squeezing my chest, not allowing me to take a full breath, it has been constant today. Usually if I take a walk for about an hour, I am able to breath normally. there is also a weird pressure/sharp pain in my right chest. I don't want to go to the emergency room again. They have told me it is anxiety (but I am not stressed or worried about anything, and it starts almost as soon as I wake up). Another doctor said it was allergies, which the nasal spray has helped with other symptoms (mostly nasal congestion, and mucus sticking to the back of my throat). I used to smoke, but it has been approx a week. Is this something that will get better with time?
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Few points will help you. Mite, dust, fumes, erratic temperature ( sudden rise or fall ), smoking, pollen, mould tension and stress. All above mentioned reasons are responsible for allergy in a person. Patients feel, sneezing, running nose, watery eyes, whistling sound during breathing, tightness in the chest. Avoidance is necessary to prevention of allergic attack. In my opinion you are suffering from allergic attack. Take care , good luck. Dr. HET
