Feeling Of Swollen Neck And Throat. History Of Thyroidectomy. On Triosint Reduced With Adding Lithyronine For Energy. Advised?

Hello Dr.
I had surgery done on April 12, 2013. The entire thyroid was removed. I was put on triosint 125 mg by my endro. I met with the pcp and she spoke to me on decreasing the medication and adding lithyronine SOD 25 mg 1/2 table 1 time a day on an empty stomach. This will help me with my energy. I no longer feel tried but I feel my neck and throat is swollen. Im scared and do not know what to do can you help me.

Thanks for using health care magic.We need to know whether only Total thyroidectomy alone was done or was it combined with neck dissection.The induration of the surgical scar sometimes can last upto 6 months or more depending on the suture material used .Neck exercises can help in movement and also to reduce the swelling.
