Feeling Pulse In Stomach. Recent Miscarriage. EKG Ordered. Reason?
I have a doctors order to get an ekg done.. They havent really given me any reason why.. I know i had asked them why i feel my pulse so strongly.in my stomach, really didnt say much about now they want a test. Im a 20 year old female. I have one 2 year old son and i recently miscarried. I also might add i have recently lost about 15-20 lbs in less than a year span. O dont work out and i eat alot more than 3 meals a day plus snacks. Any suggestions on what would make them worry about my heart

Not really feasible to guess from the information you have provided! In all probability there was something on examination which lead them to order an ECG.
Feeling of a strong pulse in abdomen may be related to your recent significant weight loss, an enlargement of a part of main blood vessel of body (aorta) or sometime leaking of one of valves of heart (aortic valve). All these conditions requires an astute clinical examination followed by imaging study (like ECHO or ultrasound).
