Fell From Staircase, Cheek Swelled, Bruise Inside Cheek. Any Infection?

Hi, during new years eve i tripped and fell against the edge of a staircase causing my cheek to swell at the right corner of my mouth i also have a cut inside my cheek and a sort of bruise , running along the inside of my cheek i think was caused by my teeth , the swelling went down however since last night has gone back up again and is no better at all, Im wondering if this could be some sort of infection?

Do ice pack massage extraorally atleast thrice daily and apply ointment metrogyl locally on the mucous membrane to take care of infection if any. Continue this regime till swelling subsides totally. It should take maximum three days.
