Fell On Stomach, Purple-red Bruise, Internal Hard Knot, Treatment

I fell at work and hit my side of the stomach pretty bad. I got a huge purple/red bruise . As I m feeling it, I got a knot inside. Is this normal or should I be worried?

Hello. welcome to HCM.
This fall with the formation of a knot/ bruise on the left side of abdomen can be a spleinic hematoma, which is possibly the most serious traumatic condition in that area. To be on the safer side, please go in for an ultrasound, which will reveal if there is any such problem. In case it is just a skin and subcutis deep hematoma, please use thrombophob ointment and oral analgesics if required.
Take care
