Fell On The Head From Standing Position, Numbness And Pain. Is This A Matter Of Concern?

I fell on my head from a standing position two nights ago and have severe numbness and pain and a bump the size of a golf ball still. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

As of now, your symptoms are suggestive of scalp hematoma (bleeding underneath the skin over head), and there is no cause of concern.

You can take analgesics such as diclofenac for relief of pain and swelling.

If symptoms persist or worsen, you may see a doctor.

Best wishes,
