Fever After Being Bitten By A Tick. Rashes On The Chest Spreading. Not Responding To Amoxicillin

My 6yr old son got bit by a tick we had it removed 4 days later he developed a fever for a couple of days, yesterday a small rash appeared on his chest now it has spread. We have been to his doctor and she doesnt seem to know what it is. She is treating him with Amoxicillin but I'm still worried seeming how she is stumped over his rash.I was wonderin if you had any thoughts on it

The presentation of fever, rash is looking like the presentation of Lyme disease.

But physical examination and appropriate investigations are important to come to a conclusion regarding the diagnosis.

Continue the medication as advised by the pediatrician.

I advise you to go for follow up for reexamination and investigations.
