Fever After Fibroid Removal And Uterus Removal Surgery, Feeling Weak. Is This Normal ?
Hi Sir/Ma'am, My mother had a uterus removal surgery on 10th July 2013 , there was fibroid also which was removed. But after operation she is having fever 101*C once a day and we give crocine to reduce the fever. Along with this she is feeling very weak form inside. Please let me know that is this fever normal and what diet chart we need to be followed.
Hi thanks for your question. Your mother had undergone hysterectomy on July 10th 2013 that means today is his 6th postoperative day. Fever at 6th post operative day is usually due to postoperative infection. She might be having infection of surgical incision site, infection of lungs or infection of urine. Crocin will control the fever for time being but is not a permanent cure. Slight amount of weakness is expected postoperatively, which will improve with time. Get her examined by his/her operating surgeon who may search for source of infection and may treat accordingly. Hope this answers your question.
