Fever, Body Aches, Weakness, Diarrhea, Lower Stomach Ache, Night Sweats. C Reactive Protein Test Done. Food Poisoning?

Hi,

I ate a hamburger that was raw on the inside. About 20 hours later I developed a bad fever with seriousbody aches and no energy. This all went away after approx 12 hours. Then diarrhea started. I had terrible lower stomach aches which would be temporarily relieved by going to the toilet. Went to my doctor, he took a c reactive protein test which yielded approx. 48-51. Throughout this time I had night sweats. Was never nauseous.

Are these symptoms and the crp test consistent with food poisoning?

Hi, you ate a hamburger which is raw inside. After 20 hours you have developed fever body aches, diarrhea, lower stomach ache.
It is definitely a food poisoning, I usually prescribe ofloxacin , ranitidine, and loperamide and paracetamol when ever there is fever or pains.
I advise you to consult a physician for treatment.Thank you.
