Fever, Sore Throat, Cough, Cold. Refuses Food. Redness In Lips, Mouth Ulcers. On Medicines. Suggestions?
Hello Doctor, My daughter has been having fever (103 degrees) from past 6 days. she also has sore throat , bad cough and cold. she refuses to take any solids or liquids. her lips appear to be red and so does inside of cheeks. her throat appears very sore and does have some mouth ulcers . I have been giving her calpol and meftal-P for fever and salbutamol for cough.

need to take antibiotic coverage for at least 3 days like amoxiclav in syp. form
also some multivitamines like tab viminta and antioxidants like lycopene like drugs
allow her bed rest for atleast 2 days. and plenty of water.

she needs antibiotic treatment and anti inflammatory to reduce congestion.
Warm salt water gargling 3 to 4 times a day and steam inhalation helps improve her symptoms.
medications what ever you are giving is only symptomatic, not treating cause.
