Finished Period Over A Week But Now Having Some Pinkish Discharge That Turns To Red Blood
Hi, I just finished my period over a week and had some pinkish discharge and turns to blood and which I noticed when I go to the toilet and it float in the toilet. It has become redder and like period red and more than 5 days now and it is less than period flow and it won t stop. However I have just traveled from Asia to Europe, does that effect? My last period was usual and last for a week. Thank you.
Hi Shirley,
Travelling shouldnt affect your menstrual cycle. Most common causes of intermenstrual bleeding is hormonal imbalance and use of hormonal contraceptives. If this lasts for more than 2 weeks you need to have it checked out by a doctor.Another cause might be pathological like polyps etc.
hiii shirley,
Welcome to health care magic.
Your current problem is inter menstrual bleeding.
It may be due to hormonal imbalance or some sort of infection.
If it is less in amount, then need not be worried. It will stop automatically.
Otherwise,if continue this,need to investigate.
Take rest and healthy diet. Also maintain proper hygiene of genitals.
All the best.
