Fleshy Skin Colored Lump Onside Anus, Started A Year Back. Normal Blood Test Results. Hemorrhoid?
Hi I noticed a fleshy skin colored lump about the size of a small pea on the inside rim of my anus. Honestly I started feeling it about a year ago but thought it would go away on its own. It hasn't. I don't really have any strange symptoms except I feel it. My stool has no blood and I'm fairly regular. I've had 2 babies vaginaly...do you think it could be a hemorrhoid? Also 3 months ago I had some blood work done and red/white blood cells were normal. Will that help rule out anything serious? Thank you!
Hi and thanks for the query. I am so sorry to hear about this lump that has bee bothering you.
A lump like the one you described could be caused by any different things. The most common is hemorrhoid especially in health adults like you. Others include warts caused by HPV(human papilloma Virus), cancers etc. From your symptoms, I a leaning more towards hemorrhoids.
Because it has been persistent for a year, I will suggest that you get it examined by a doctor to make sure we are not dealing with something else. Depending on his finding, appropriate tests and/or treatment would be asked/provided.
