Hi I have had the flu for 4 wks taken antibiotics 3doses,but my mane concern is I have had sore ribs for 3wks and they are still sore they are saying maybe bruising from coughing,but no coughing for last 3 days but ribs still sore.also doctor sent me for xray and say there is a little cloud over right rib which is the sore rib and could be phnemonia but just gave me more antibiotics?????

The clod they describing over the right rib can very well be a fracture of the rib due to excessive coughing.
It is commonly seen when cough are prolonged and violent.
Does the rib pain on touching?
If it does then it is well a fracture i believe
