Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband is feeling well, i took his blood pressure 4 times and they all came back in the 90 s over in the 60 s with a pulse rate in the 40 s. is that ok?
His BP averages out to a mean arterial pressure >60, indicating that his brain is being perfused at this BP. His heartrate is a little more concerning to me; This is a HR indicative of bradycardia which is a HR less than 60. This can be normal if your husband is not having any symptoms, which usually includes dizziness as the most common symptom. Another symptom is shortness of breath. In any case he should be evaluated by his family physician to ensure that this is your husband's normal.
Be well, Dr. Kimberly
