Fluid Movement In Head. Having Frequent Headaches. Matter Of Concern?
Hi doctor.Iam a twenty one year old male.i weigh about 70 kgs and dont have much of a medical history..very visits to a hospital, and even then i went for consultancy reasons. however i am worried slightly because of fluid like movement in my head,i notice that alot especially because i do a lot of sports.i frequently have headaches which i ve always worried about.could this be something to really worry about?
Let me tell you that the causes of headache are many and this can be due to migraine, tension headache, cluster headache, brain tumor/infection, problem in the blood vessels and so on. Further, the presence of associated complaints like vomiting, nausea, any preceeding signs before headahce and weakness of legs/hands etc will help us clarify the diagnosis.
With the limited information, i feel that you may be having tension headache and/or migraine. Note that these are the diagnoses of exclusion.
I advise you to meet a neurologist and get examined to secure the diagnosis so that treatment becomes easy.
Mostly you will benefit with rest, relaxation, regular food and sleep habit along with a short course of medicines like Amitriptiline.
Please donot worry much
Your neurologist will help you
Best wishes
