Flutters In Abdomen That Mimic Fetal Movement. Going Through Pre Menopause. Negative EPT Test. Suggestions?

Can an overweight woman going through early menopause before age 45 get pregnant and not show positive on an ept test? The reason for the question is that she is now feeling flutters in the abdomen that mimic fetal movement but ept shows negative. Would there be any other condition that would mimic that feeling? She has not seen a menstral since February 2013 and prior to that June 2012. Hormonal testing has been done and she was told she was in pre-menopause. Previous pregnancies were by c-section (2) and tubal was performed after the 2nd.

Hi,
It is possible that she might be in premenopausal age and period might become irregular and not having period since long.
But as there is not menopause, she might ovulated and might be giving pregnancy.
But as ept test is negative chance of pregnancy is less likely.
Go for ultra sound for confirmation.
Having mimic of feeling fetal movement might be psychological or due to some gastric problem.
