Follicular Study Report Showed No Left Dominant Article And No Fluid In POD And Endometrial Thickness. Meaning?
today was the second sitting for the follicular study...on 11th day right dominanat follicle was 15 X15 MM, No left dominant follicle was found, endometrial thickness was 10 MM and no fluid in POD on 13th day right dominant follicle was 21 X 19 MM, no left dominant follicle was found, endometrial thickness was 10 MM and no fluid in POD...i have my 3rd sitting day after tommorow.. m unable to understand this report
Looks like you are going for serial follicular scan and trying to conceive.
As you know every month around the time of ovulation, a follicle is released by an ovary (right or left alternately). Before release takes place, the follicle appears the largest among follicles and is called the dominant follicle. The chances of conception increase if the couple has intercourse just after the dominant follicle is released.
This scan will tell when the follice gets released. It happens on the 12-14 day of the cycle in normal perople.
