I have a sensitive stomach, foul smelling gassy diahorrea, high fever (which broke last night) and have had heavy sweats afterwards. Also feeling totally washed out with headache lasting 2days (from onset of symptoms, also still no bowel control

Yes, it does look like food poisoning, which can cause gastroenteritis, that is an inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Night sweats are a result of an infection. You should report to a General Physician and go for antibiotics.
