For Enlarged Liver, Can Any External Fixtures Ensure Pain-free Mobility?
My name is Ellen and I have an enlarged liver. I am going to get blood tests today and next week or so will have an ultrasound done. My question is, is there something I can use to bind my side u?. I can sit back in a recliner or lay in bed and I am given great relief but I can't live this way.
You are having enlarged liver .... You have to take care about avoiding direct pressure over liver area .... Rest done and strenous work avoided to decrease morbidity ...
Investigate with following ..... -Peripheral smear blood examination -retic count -SGOT and SGOT -USG -Serum bilirubin -Urine urobilinogen and bilirubin etc....
Than if needed HBSag and anti HCV done if history suggestive ......
In your case as history not classic I suggested above investigation otherwise you can minimize above test according to history and your physical examination...
Hope your concern solved. ....
