For How Long Should The Medicine Be Taken After Stent Implanted?

One yr ago I had a heart attack and a quadruple bypass. In April I had second attack and stent implanted. The cardiologist has me on Plavix and one low dose Aspirin. Initially I was on Brilinta, which caused severe shortness of breath and was sswitched to Plavix. My Dr. says I could likely to be on Plavix the rest of !y life. I would prefer a 325 mg. Aspirin without Plavix. How often are patients have to take this !ed. forever. I am a 75 yr. old female.
