For the past two years or so I have been plagued by a mysterious disease affecting my hands and feet. The heels split and make walking painful. That problem is handled rather well by an OTC heel balm. The hands are far more difficult. The skin of the right hand thumb and index finger and middle finger split in a jagged pattern and bleed if neglected. I've tried many prescribed and OTC compounds with limited effect. I use lots of Band-Aids. Visits to two dermatologists have been of little help.
