Since you have been diagnosed as having hemorrhoids, it is important to know the grade of hemorrhoid as Faktu ointment will help in grade I and II. The prolapsing piles will anyway need surgery. IF your Doctor has asked you to use this ointment, please continue it for three weeks and then get an examination and proctoscopy done preferably by a General Surgeon to know the grade and get operated if advised so. Also needed are the following things: Stool softener and laxative as needed to keep the stools soft. Sitz bath in a tub with warm water before and after passing stools. Avoid the foods that cause constipation. Regular review and proper management will help you to get over the problems. Also get a stool test done and treated as per the reports.
