For two years now I have been getting urinary urgency. It was under more control on the tablet tolterodine after unsuccessful trials on Tamsulosin and solafenacin. The last six months had been a lot better. Originally the condition was made worse by haemorrhoids/anal fissure due to the increased pressure on the bladder. I have had previous long stretches of constipation and haemorrhoids since my teenage years. For six months or so I had no haemorrhoids but they have returned again and today I have passed urine approximately twenty times within 12 hours. Tonight I cannot sleep because the pressure and need to empty the bladder is constantly there. The issue arose when I had unprotected sex back in 2016. All sexual health tests have come back negative. I have been tested twice. I am 25 and feel I cannot continue with my life. I have not had suicidal thoughts but it does scare me that this is an issue which could someday affect my mental health on a dramatic scale if not resolved. Please help. Any advice is welcome!
