Forehead Injury, Seeing Stars, Headache When Coughing, Pain. Is This Normal?
Hello, I have a question.. I hit the right side of my forehead on the side of a swimming pool while swimming under water. I did not loose consciousness however I did see starts. This happened 2 days ago. I had a bad headache all day and was exhausted from the incident (which is to be expected) my headache now comes and goes, however when I cough I have a strong pain that radiates to the area, is that normal?
Hi, It sounds as if you took quite a blow to your head. If these are the only symptoms you are experiencing then I think you will soon get over it. You do not mention any visual disturbances, nausea or vomiting. There may have been some impact to the brain but likely to be only very minor if at all. Pain radiating to the area when you cough is not unusual and should settle in a few days.
