Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Found days ago I had a dark spot in my periphery, then a sudden shower of black spots. The eye surgeon said I had a retinal tear, vitreous hemmorage and lattice. I was treated with laser photocoagulation. I expected to still have float but the hazy cloud I am struggling with is at best the same if not worse. It is extreme. I can see with that eye only if it's very close and I focus intently. If the light is bright I can still see the millions of tiny black spots. But that is nothing compared to this almost useless eye. I can barely perform my job and I'm desperate. Is this normal?
