hi I have had a gastroscopy yesterday report says clo test taken I have to wait 2to 3 days for result and it says ppl tx and eradication if hp possible what does all this mean they found erosive and erythematous duodenitis in the posteriorbulb and in the duodenum
Hello, I understand your concern. According to the test results, there is inflammation and wearing away of the moist inner lining of the digestive part between the stomach and the small intestine. This is due to infection with H. Pylori, which is the culprit behind ulcers in the digestive system. Eradication/treatment of H.Pylori consists on a course of a combination of three drugs, two of which are antibiotics and the third one is an anti acid.
