Found Nodule In Throat And Has Changed The Voice. What Medication Is Recommended?
Sir, My father's voice is changed from 20 days, It is like hareseness...So We have cnsulted one ENT doctor, He found Nodule in throat a week time back. He said to operate to remove nodule , SO and Now y'day we have visited another doctor, & he said not need to operate , Just rest for 15 days & given medicines.
Pl suggest is REST option is ok? as already 20 days are passed.

I am so sorry to hear about what you father is experiencing. If your father has a nodule, then it need to be evaluated and the possibility of a cancer ruled out. Maybe doing a biopsy or surgical excision would help address this. Please, ask the doctor who prescribed drugs on what his thoughts are. Is this a preliminary management for future assessment before making modifications or he strongly thinks the nodule is of no concern? I will like to see the possibility of cancer excluded before settling for any other possible cause and treatment plan.
