Found Red, Blotchy Rashes From Neck To Chest. Should I Be Concerned?
I am a 18 year old young man in college. I was eating lunch and started to feel a tingling sensation on my neck. It wasn't unbearable but noticeable. I didn't itch it or rub it. When I went to the bathroom and looked in a mirror there was a red, blotchy rash that went around my neck and down to my chest. I found it very strange because it wasn't there when I woke up today and I don't have any allergies that I know of. Should I be concerned?
I am so sorry to hear about this rash. Considering the information you have provided, this is typical of an allergy. the cause is not immediately evident to me but I will like you to be very observant and figure out if there is any thing that could have explained this. A new item is often the cause. This will help you prevent future episode.
If there are no associated symptoms, you need no further action an the symptoms would slowly regress over 3-5days. However, if it becomes itchy, try Zyrtec and you would be relieved.
