Frequent Headaches, Swelling And Pain In Veins Of Head, Sore Scalp, Locked Calf Muscles. Any Ideas?

Hi,
For the 5 months or so I have been suffering from frequent headaches and slight swelling plus pain in the veins on my head. Lately my scalp has also been sore as though somebody has pulled my hair really hard. And sometimes my head goes numb and I lose all feeling in it when I wake up in the middle of the night.
Also the muscles in my calf kind of lock up while I am sleeping. This happens mostly at night and is very painful trying to unlock the muscles.

Hi,
Based on your history you have two problems chronic headache and calf cramps. You need to be seen by neurologist and clinically examined especially for fundus examination. You require MR venogram to rule out structural lesion in brain and to rule out venous thrombosis which can also produce headache. You need basic hemogram, electrolytes, blood sugar and calcium to know the cause for cramps.
Meantime have plenty of fluids, naprosyn for headache and calcium supplements
