Frequent Sore Throat, Bronchitis And Pneumonia, Feel Itchy. Suggestion?
I been getting sick for the past year. It started with my nodes from occipital down to my collar bone. I am getting bronchitis and pneumonia one after another. Also my whole body gets itchy for no reason. I take allergy medication but it does not help. I checked my liver and it is fine. The nodes went down so the doctor said no to biopsy . but i keep getting sick. I had a CT down and i am clear so no lymphoma . my blood work is a fine. last 3 months my throat has been sore. Any Ideas or suggestions?
You have performed a CT and also your nodes are gone so i am assuming that the only problem you have right now is a severely sore throat.
You need to do the following for the same: 1. Get an ENT consult and perform an upper GI endoscopy to rule out any mass lesion and reflux which in all probability will be the problem in your case 2. Avoid taking anything cold/ spicy or oily 3. Avoid speaking for a long time or straining your voice when you speak. Also do not clear your throat frequently 4. Take plenty of warm fluids and water and never let your throat to become dry
take care and get well soon
