Frequently Passing Urine And Stools, Disturbed Sleep. Need Advice

My father has a severe problem when it comes to passing urine.
He has to pass stools too frequently to pass his urine.At night he has to wake up around 8-9 times for passing urine.
It's become too disturbing to wake up every hour at night.
He has been facing this problem since past 3-4 years.
Kindly give us your valuable advice on the same .

Hi Rajesh,
Thanks for writing your query.

Difficulty in passing urine can be due to enlargement of prostrate, commonly seen in elderly males.
Frequent urination leading to sleep disturbance can be seen in diabetes.

I would suggest that you should get your father examined clinically.

Also get following investigations done :-
1. Blood sugar (Fasting and PP).
2. PSA.
3. Ultrasound lower abdomen.
